Pregabalin is a gamma-am inbutyric acid (GABA) analogue.
Indication
- Diabetic neuropathic pain
- Post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN)
- Fibromyalgia
- Painful nerve disease
- Help control certain kinds of seizuers
Dosage
- 2 tabs/day up to 300 mg/day
- Dose adjustment is required in renal immpairment
- When discontinuing Pregablin, taper gradually
- over a minimum of 1 week.
Contraindication
Pregnancy and lactating patients
